The Better Moments from My Week

1. I decided to put away my heat intensive hair tools for a while since my hair is getting so dry. One of my new favorite styles is the curl-hawk (as my sister so cleverly named it). 

2. Vintage silks and lace from a booth at the Pasadena flea market were stunning and so well priced!

3. I have mastered pizza dough (recipe to come later). Best of all it requires so little effort because I let my stand mixer do all the elbow work for me.

The Better Martha Chops It Off!

Get ready for the most narcassistic post you will ever find on my blog. But I did something pretty major so I have to share it with you all! I chopped off most of my hair!!! For the last year or so I have progressively been cutting it shorter and shorter (much to my parents dismay) because I hate washing and straightening long hair so I decided to say bye-bye to my long tresses and my flat iron. I'm a curly girl now!

In all honesty, I'm actually prepared to go even shorter like her, but my parents weren't having it. Hehehe! I'll be leaving for college in two months... I may just get very scissor happy when I'm away from home! #teenagerebellion

The Better DIY Wand Curler

This process literally took me ten minutes (including the time required to find the screwdriver). Curler wands are great because they are much easier to use, and they do not leave clamp marks in my hair. Plus it was a great way to get the product I want without tossing my Hot Tools curlers.
